Mosquito net
Every year the forecast paints a wet picture of the summer with a lot of pouring summer rain which makes for a great breeding ground for mosquitoes, flies and a variety of other bugs.
In the warm seasons from spring to autumn it’s impossible not to open the window to let some cool air and light in our home.

VasiMa has a personalized solution for your window. In addition to the standard static mosquito nets we also offer horizontal and vertical sliding nets for doors and windows, nets for sliding windows, pleat style nets.
Don’t worry that the net will cover the nice view out of your window. Our nets are light and semi transparent.
They are made out of an aluminum frame, the net itself is made out of fiberglass with teflon covering (non-flammable), designed to repel bugs and pollen and allow fresh air and light. The nets can’t be damaged by sunlight.
The options are:
- Static nets – designed only for windows used to let air in rooms. They are seasonal which means that they can be taken down when not needed with the help of a special reamer
- Nets on hinges in a frame – they can be installed as an additional wing to the window or door from the outside and they open out as a separate window.
- Nets on hinges for a door – made out of more sturdy aluminum profiles, meant for balcony doors and for places of bigger dimensions. Their improved toughness makes them perfect for many openings and extended lifetime. They have handles on the inside and outside and can be easily taken down during the autumn.
- Roulette horizontal and vertical net in a box – they roll up automatically with the help of a spring into a box tall 4cm above the window, led up and down by aluminum made guides on the sides. When needed it can automatically be rolled up into the box, granting full access to the outside of the window. During the winter the sliding net can be taken down which significantly improves its lifetime and protects it. Their design permits installation over any type of window and also together with outside rolling blinds.
- Plead net – constructed for doors and windows with either horizontal or vertical positioning. They are the modern alternative of the standard mosquito net. They form a small package when rolled up which makes them very convenient. Made out of non-flammable accordion style net. They can be made in bigger sizes up to 6 meters.
- Sliding nets – mounted on a separate rail in different designs: slide by lifting, Volkswaggen type doors, sliding windows etc.
All mosquito nets are available in 230 colors from the RAL gamma and all types of wood decorations including wenge, walnut, golden oak and mahogany.
All mosquito nets can be ordered with or without windows and installation.
Cleaning is very easy for all types – just wash under running water.
With a one-time investment you will be rid of the daily expenses on bug repellent products like sprays and oils.
